The Dolphins are reportedly visiting with guard Richie Incognito today. Hopefully he can get over his personal issues and be a good player for this team. He could start, but he probably will just add depth. He is massive.

Word Just In

Just got info that Clark is going to stay in Pittsburgh, this is terrible news for all the Finz fans. Hopefully we can land another safety.

Ryan Clark

The Miami Herald is reporting that Ryan Clark, safety from the Steelers is planning to visit Miami, and hopefully make a deal. This would be amazing considering Clark is a good solid safety, one we need badly. The way the Finz have approached this free agency, it appears at least to me that they are planning to get Dez Bryant. We already got the linebacker, and now it is reported that Miami is planning to get Clark. All this means we need a receiver, and it looks like we will address this in the draft, with maybe a Dez Bryant.

NFL Combine

The combine is tomorrow and I plan catchin as much of it as I can, I'll be looking out for McClain and Bryant, trying to see who would be a better fit for this team. Allen Released

After being caught for DUI last week, Will Allen has been bailed out of prison. I expect him to stay but he will get talked to by the staff. Hopefully he can continue to mentor these young cornerbacks into becoming successful professionals.

Will Brown Stay?

   People are wondering whether Ronnie Brown will stay with the team. All I can say is he is the face of the franchise and he knows it, he'll get his contract, and it'll be done. If you're worrying, don't, he is the most important signing to the Finz, and they will make a deal happen. Hopefully he'll be a Dolphin for a while.

   Seriously Porter, you are now going to complain that the Fins have a dropoff at LB? To NFL Network! Are you kidding me! I can't wait until you never win another Super Bowl and you watch us led by Cameron Wake to win year after year. Sorry Peezi, you're old and I am glad to see you go! It is definitely Wake time!

Joey Porter wants out, he claims he dislikes the coaching staff, doesn't get enough playing time, and he just wants to leave. If this is true, I expect Miami to deal him and Ginn to increase their pick for maybe a shot at Dez Bryant. They can trade them to some NFC team that can't come back to haunt us. Sorry for not posting but I have been busy they will now begin to flood in.

Nolan!

Thank God! We hired Mike Nolan as our new DC, this is huge and hopefully he can help this defense. As for the defense itself, I don't know if the Miami Dolphins may trade some players. Hopefully we get a more aggressive team this year and not so conservative.

Groh?

Miami is expected to sign Al Groh as the D Coordinator. Hopefully he can help us in a huge way considering that this defense is in need of a lot of help.

The Fins fired their defensive coordinator in an attempt to help improve this defense. Hopefully it will help.

WE NEED A WR!!!

I dont care how we get one, draft, free agency, trade, we need to pick upa a big powerful receiver that scare defenses. At this point we have no one that scares opponents, except Davone Bess, but barely. I would personaly like to see Miami spend the pick on a receiver. I would love Dez Bryant, but that may not happen due to Miami only getting players who are goody-two-shoes. I pray we get someone big, not another migit playing the slot.

Jets?

WOW! I thought the pats were the beasts of the east, apparently not. After being blown out by the ravens, and the jets beating the bengals twice in a row was surprising. I stll dont think the jets have a chance, but you never know. At this point, I am personally rooting for the Colts. I like Manning, and he already won one championship in Miami, why not 2.

Monday Morning

Usually on Monday mornings, I feel OK. If we win, I'm ecstatic, if we lose, I see what we need to do to make the playoffs. Sadly, I know have to come to a full realization that it is over. Done, no playoffs, this team brought us fans a lot of joy, sadness, and finally, heartbreak. Why, why did the Jets make the playoffs over us?  We had all the opportunities all the breaks,  but in the end, it doesn't matter.  

Thigpen?/Draft

After seeing Thigpen play, I noticed how the team responded around him. They were more confident and played well. In terms of the draft (which i will elaborate more on later) we need a receiver that scares people. everyone in our division has one. Bills, TO, Pats, Welker and Moss, Jets, Edwards. Miami, no one. I want Miami to trade up for Dez Bryant. We should only keep Camarillo, Bess, and Hartline. Trade Ginn to a team that needs a receiver. I personally like Vontae Davis, but after seeing Hakeem Nicks, I wouldn't have minded him either. We need a threat that can catch, block, and be someone Thigpen or Henne would have confidence in.

WHY OH WHY!

Miami lost, again. Come on man! Why! Tyler Thigpen looked good, and Miami was playing good as well, our defense just collapsed on the last drive. That was terrible. 8-8, sounds so much better than 7-9. Stay tuned for my team review over the off season after the playoffs. I will also be writing on the playoffs a bit. Stay tuned.

Chances?

Miami has a small shot at the playoffs even though they lost these past few weeks. We need to win, have cleveland beat jacksonville, pats to beat texans, oakland to beat baltimore. Considering we blew 2 opportunities in a row this is good news. 

Offseason Plans/Forums

Just to tell you, I will be writing in the offseason. Probably I'll be reviewing the team and previewing the draft. There will be new stuff weekly over the summer as well. Just wanted to say as well, that you should start some conversations going in the forums. That has been one of my recent goals is to get that popularized. So, don't be shy and start writing things in the forums, just be appropriate.

New Logo?

I just wanted to tell you guys that there has been a slight delay in production of the new logo, but it will be up soon. There is an interim logo there now, but that won't be there forever. Stay tuned, it should be up in maybe a few weeks so stay tuned.

New Blog

I was wondering how I could update people on what new stuff is going on my site, so I decided to make a blog. I'll update it a few times weekly, basically telling you what is happening around the site. Thanks a lot and Finz Up!
